Does Bank AI copy-trade or place orders on eToro?
No. Bank AI is read-only by design. We surface positions, cash, dividends and CopyPortfolio exposure so you can see the picture, but every trade and copy decision continues to be made inside eToro. We never move money on your behalf.
Does Bank AI cover crypto holdings on eToro?
Yes. Where eToro exposes crypto position data via the connector, Bank AI surfaces those holdings as digital-asset positions next to your bank, broker and other crypto-wallet positions, with multi-currency totals reflected in your net worth.
Are CFDs and leveraged positions surfaced?
Where the connector exposes them, yes - notional exposure is surfaced separately from cash-equity positions so the leverage picture is clear. Bank AI explicitly tags CFD exposure as derivative so it cannot be confused with an equity holding of the same name.
Does Bank AI calculate UK CGT on eToro disposals?
No - Bank AI is a money app, not a tax tool. UK CGT, with same-day, 30-day and section-104 pool rules, is best handled in dedicated tax software or by your eToro annual statement. Bank AI surfaces the underlying disposals so the audit trail is clean.
Can I see eToro alongside my pension and bank accounts?
Yes. eToro positions sit in the same view as your AJ Bell SIPP, your home banking and your other broker accounts, with one multi-currency net worth number computed live.
Is my eToro data stored outside the EU?
No. Bank AI processes broker data in EU regions by default, with AES-256 encryption and EU-region key management. eToro itself remains the custodian of your assets; Bank AI never holds them.
